Applied for loan was told I was approved but needed to send $947 by etransfer. Stupid me, sent money was called later and told I needed to send another $1000 due to credit I said no and to cancel. They said they would send me a cheque for the money I sent and never received it.

Was contacted by phone bycompany after filling out a loan application on a loan broker website. Stated I was approved for a $20,000 secured loan. Was given 3 options for security, my house, which was not eligible, as I have an existing mortgage, a co-signer, which I didn't have available or a security deposit. Was told a partial security deposit of $1600 was required. Contract sent via email, stating partial security funds $1600 or full security funds of $3200. Agreed to contract and sent $1600 via E-transfer. After hours of waiting recieved a phone call stating after further review, full security deposit in contract required. Sent additional $1600. Was contacted the next day, saying further security funds required. I refused to send further deposits, as that was not in contract. After much back and forth, I requested my security funds returned. Upon that request was told loan would be funded the next day. Again further security funds requested to be sent. Demanded my security funds. Email recieved stating funds would be returned by 5pm in 2 days. Funds have not been received. Will also be contacting RCMP and the Canadian Fraud Center

Received an email from this seemingly non-existent company I had never applied to telling me i was "fully approved" for a $20,000 loan, and that I only needed to call them.

Whole thing is extremely fishy and incredible and I am not calling them to waste my time, only to be told they need 3000 or more in loan guarantees or insurance or some other such b.s. and then they will "release the loan". Sure.

This number has called me countless times saying i took out an online loan,that i never took out an online loan, they say if i don't pay over $1000 i will have to go to court
