I applied for the job through indeed and got an email a few days later saying that I needed to give them computer qualifications and stuff to make sure it was the right gigabytes for the job. Once I did that, 2 days later I received an email saying I got the job. No interview took place. After that I did all the documents. A W-2 document and I had to sign papers. They have my social and a picture of my ID. So they basically know everything about me. After getting hired, I received an email saying that I needed to do an IT check to make sure everything would be ready to go for training on Monday. Once I was on the meeting with the IT guy, he wasn’t on camera nor was he on the mic. It was all through Microsoft chat. He then proceeded to download software ti my computer to start the process for the job. Once he did so, it wouldn’t work. He kept saying it wasn’t working. He told me I needed to use another pc or delete all my antivirus walls to make sure it would work. After doing more research after the meeting, I saw a lady ask on Facebook if anyone worked for the company and if it was legit. Another lady commented and said “if it’s not on bbb website then it’s not real”. The lady responded to that by saying “I couldn’t find anything on the website”. So therefore I think this company is a scam and I’m terrified they are going to use my information. What do I do?

The same thing has happened to me just recently on 1/27/23 with this company. I have been searching all over the internet to find info about them. I believe this job is a complete scam.
