I was trying to sell my Steam Deck on FaceBook Marketplace for $400 when a woman named Alexa Murray tried to buy it. She offered to pay today and pick it up tomorrow so I gave my address so she could pick it up. She insisted on paying via Venmo but I suggested she pay tomorrow because an email was sent to me claiming the transaction was on hold and she'd have to send an additional $300 to activate a business account. The email was called [email protected]. It sounded suspicious to me so I did not click the link and asked that she send a screenshot that she actually sent it. She dodged the question and kept wanting to pay me today so I blocked her on FaceBook. Attached is the profile picture "Alexa" used.
