Placed and order online, I have a medical Marijuana card. NY state mentioned ability to order online. Google search brought me to a site “NYweed.co” and I placed the order. Someone named Justin Cox texted me from the number +1 (408) 909-4941 and then asked for the money through Zelle (which is set up with my bank- chase). After realizing they just scammed me out of $299.96 by telling me to use a name of donavin Johnson to send payment to. They cited not to use the phone number, as when I checked with Zelle, it showed the number not being part of Zelle. I asked through text that it seems like a scam and the number is/ +1 (408) 909-4941. I hAve reached out to them via text and through email ([email protected]). I notified my bank claims dept of the fraud. The “company” has not responded and just scammed me by forcing me to provide payment and needing it sent over asap.
