Got a call from Oncor saying our light would be cut off in 15 mins if we didn't pay $392.00 the number they called from was 1-866-220-3816

Got a call from "Oncor" stating that my electricity was going to be disconnected for 3 months of non-payment (which was false). They said an investigation would be done but I had to put an emergency deposit that would be refunded to me. The "supervisor" said that I had to go to a nearby office location and pay the amount in CASH. When I told her that this was not a legitimate "Oncor" service she hung up.

I contacted the real Oncor and they said they have been getting notifications about this scam from several people. They sound very legit and almost had me convinced. Oncor said they will never call or send someone to collect any money and if anything was to be done it would come through the electric service provider, not Oncor.
