Caller called and started the conversation with an insulting tone. As the consumer, I asked: What are you calling for? The caller indicated they were calling on behalf of the VA to solicit funds to provide better services for veterans. I indicated that the conversation started on a wrong foot with insults. Got in a screaming match and the caller hung up. I called the number back and it went right to "James" and I said how dare you call and solicit funds with insults. I asked if the envelope they were sending had a stamp to return the donation. "James' said, I don't know that - Ill have to have you talk to my supervisor. I also indicated they could stop by my house to collect the donation. Talked to supervisor who said they would talk to "James". Called VA and they said that they had no information in their system on this caller and indicated to me it was definintely a "scam".
