Omega auto care Reports & Reviews (2)

I have gotten numerous letters in the mail from this company claiming that my auto warranty has expired. They are writing me about a car I have not owned in seven years. I decided to call them and ask to be removed from their mailing list. The first person I spoke with, Ross, was so unprofessional and hung up on me when I refused to give him my personal information. I called back immediately. When I was on the phone this time, I spoke with Vincent and he was very helpful in removing me from mailings and phone calls. Or so I hope. I then noticed there was no company name listed on the paperwork which made me uncomfortable and curious. I called back again. I asked if they could tell me the name of their company as I may be interested in extending my auto warranty for my current vehicle. The person on the phone immediately hung up on me. Didn't give their name when answering. I then called back three different times to ask that same question, “What is the name of your company so I can look you up on Google?” I spoke to 3 individuals. Again speaking with Ross, who of course hung up when I refused yet again to give my personal information. The next two associates I spoke with were Jessica, and Albert. Jessica lied and told me the company name was National Intake Center and then hung up on me. A quick google search showed no such company selling extended auto warranties. The final phone call I made, I spoke with Albert, that told me the name of the company is Omega Auto Care. I told him I would like to go on Google and look into the company before I proceeded with him. He understood and asked me to call back and use his name when I was ready. I went on Google and sure enough, there is no Omega Auto Care attached to the phone number on the notice, but there were multiple complaints on the ScamPulse.com site with this phone number and the company name of Omega Auto Care. This notice has no identifying features for the company, their phone operators are extremely nasty and hang up on customers when customers refuse to give personal information or ask for details about the reliability of the company. This is an obvious phishing scam to get personal information from people. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FROM ANY COMPANY THAT USES 800-298-4306 as their contact info.
