Omada Health Reports & Reviews (5)

I was contacted by an individual named Frank Bennet claiming to be apart of Omada Health Inc. He instructed me to download an app called Discord so that I could message an another individual named Larry Thompson where he conducted what I thought was an interview. He asked for my address, phone number, full name, which carrier I was with and what bank I banked with. I had my suspicions especially because of the timing, but I ignored it and dubiously provided the information. However after looking searching the email that he sent over a brief description of the job with a list of job duties etc. I discovered it was apart of an ongoing scam.

I received a text message from (309)365- 6532 claiming they received my resume off of Career Builder. I said I was interested and they had me create a account on "Discord Messenger". They then told me to add Mason Franco Id#2182 and send him a message with my interview number given to me. We did the interview and I was hired. They stated a check was being Fed Ex to me to purchase equipment and programs from an approved vendor. I asked who the Vendor was and indicated they would give me the name once it was required. They then asked me to report at 8 AM to verify the next steps.

I got a simple text from this number. They asked me by my full name but never responded. I forgot about it after but recently remembered that I never got a response from the mystery number who knew my first and last name.. tried to call but said it was a texting service number that was not available.

This scammer claimed to be a ‘Mason Franco’ from Omada Health. He found me on my career builder account, an account I haven’t updated or used in years. The following text messages were sent back and forth, when I politely demanded that the individual email me they did not. Red flags went off as soon as they mentioned the career builder website but the biggest one was when they said the head department of the company looked at my resume, if they looked at the resume I hadn’t even finished setting up on the website they would laugh.

I had the same experience as another reviewer. They sent an email stating they had added me to their shortlist for interviews for a position with their company. They had me add them on wire.app to complete the interview and email an individual different documents needed. They conducted an interview with me via wire.app and then the next day let me know I had the job. Then they told me there was a $180.00 bonus for working with them and that I would be sent $9800 dollars in home office equipment. They then told me I needed to get 3 Steam gift cards and give them the numbers on the back so I could get an employee number. Two for $50, and one for $15. When I told them I did not have a bank account (untrue, I was just not going to hand over my banking information) they were very aggressive about getting it even though they'd assured me that I had the option of being mailed a check or direct deposit.
