My wife was called by this collection agency claiming she owed a debt from over 20 years ago. My wife told them the debt had been paid. They insisted it had not been paid and she needed to pay them $2918 to settle this debt. She told them this was settled over 20 years ago. They insisted it was not and she needed to pay them today immediately to avoid being served papers and going to court. They asked for proof of payment immediately and would not give us any time to try to find it being it was over 20 years old. After we questioned them about the statute of limitations on collecting a debt in the state of Florida they became furious and threatened to lien our property and put a boot on my wifes car and she wouldn't be able to reregister her car. They said they sent her papers that she never received. Something seriously wrong with this company!! Please investigate as soon as possible!
