A fake recruiter by the name of Elaine Rothstein reached out to me about my resume on indeed, directly through text. The conversation moved to email, with a job offer of an remote admin position with starting wage of 35 an hour. They ask you to contact them through a meeting site called Ring Central for the interview. It all seems fairly normal, but the bad spelling, and direct recruitment made my alarms go off. I called the OHSU Hillsboro hr team directly and asked if it was a valid job opportunity and they said no. It has happened to more than just me.
