The scammer emailed my business wanting to set up a private event. They wanted to pay with credit card over the phone ahead of the event. They then wanted me to pay for their band and they were going to include that money in the payment to me. They said the bands business was VINCE MUSIC BAND ENTERTAINMENT with an email of [email protected]. We have had multiple versions of this type of scam recently. The person can never come in to talk (hospital, overseas, etc). They always want to pay with credit card in advance with the full payment plus the extra for the service they want me to pay for.
