A company by the name of ODE Design Company attempted to contact me via email and then through the Signal messaging app. They conducted an interview only through text and did not attempt to have a face to face zoom or teams meeting. I was "hired" almost immediately and was instructed to give my address so they could send me a "start-up check" to purchase materials for remote work at home. I was contacted on Signal by a hiring manager by the name of Isabella Raines. I could not find her on Linked in or on any other site that would show her actual credentials. ODE Design Company website also had no leadership information.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, except the name was Elizabeth something, and now suddenly the website is gone.
