He submitted a formal inquiry on my photography website to inquire for wedding photography services for his "brother" and even mentioned he found my business through a reputable wedding advertising website called The Knot.com. After quoting him my price and packages, I received several e-mails and text instructing me to deposit a mailed check for wedding photography, but "by mistake" included the wedding planners funds in my check. He instructed me to deposit the funds anyway and help send the remaining funds for the wedding planner. He texted me once following up about the mailed check but I immediately was concerned about this odd situation and blocked the number.
I received a check in the amount of $4,985.25 from the account HP Texas| LLC, 180 N Stetson Ave, Suite 3650, Chicago, IL 60601 . The return address is PCML Irvine CA ,19 Morgan, Irvine CA 92618. Check # 4789. Signature Bank, 200 Park Avenue South, NewYork NY, 10003.
