They were offering a data entry job that seemed too good to be true. They asked me to download telegram to speak with their hiring manager, and we went through the interview process. Some of the questions were odd like what bank do you use? What does that matter? Also, lots of grammatical errors in the conversation felt odd. Their official website is there but if you look up the address nothing is legit. Nothing on LinkedIn. I was lucky that I did not give my information to these people.

Ocean Heart Consult Ltd. Emailed me about setting up a job interview. I questioned it immediately when I saw the email name but I still proceeded and they wanted to do the interview on the telegram app and told me the job would be $30 an hour and $18 an hour during training. 9/10 any job that does an interview on telegram is either unprofessional or a scam. I still did the interview and within 5 minutes I got a reply saying I got the job and that they want me to pay $1000 for the equipment and I'll get the money back in training. Something felt off so I googled if companies ever ask you to pay for equipment and they can't. According to an Act, employers must pay for all equipment. On top of that, earlier, I saw the company was in California and questioned them, they told me they are not ScamPulse.com accredited because theyre just now getting their offices into the U.S.!!! BUT WHY WOULD THEY PUT They're IN CALIFORNIAWHEN THEYRE NOT? it's a scam ladies and gentlemen. Always check to see if a company is ScamPulse.com accredited.

I applied to a few jobs on careerbuilder.com doing data entry. The next day I got an email telling me to download telegram and use a like to connect to an individual who would be conducting my interview. I went to the website hyperlink they provided for telegram and decided to use Google play instead because it was on there and I don't trust weird websites that has only one product. Used the hyperlink to connect to the interviewer. Did an interview with the person all through message. Once I was finished they explained they were going to send me a check via email to be deposited into my account then I was to use that to buy what I needed to do the job. I was suspicious to begin with because they were to pay me $30 an hour to do data entry from home and they were going to pay me even if I didn't have any work to do. I have never worked for a company who wanted me to buy what I needed to do the job. They provided it and gave it to me with everything already loaded or talked me through how to download the software.
