I was texted this message, "Good day,

I’m Mr. Austin P. Brown One of the Human Resources at Ocado Group Plc. We are impressed by your history of good work experience and would love to speak with you about the new position we’re creating on our global team.

Positions Available are Remote:

Data Entry - $24/hr/ Administrative Assistant - $26/hr/ General Manager - $34/hhttps://teams.live.com/l/invite/FBAUfvCHDo6oXhs2QQ, on Teams.

I believe the HR Manager his currently online waiting to get you started."

The fraudster sent a check by FedEx for me to cash and buy equipment. I received the check and there was a note inside that informed me to email the email address I previously wrote (first email address I received) and they will tell me what to do with the check.

This is the text message I received. They had me to do an interview on Zoom. Once completed they told me they would mail me a check and for me to buy my materials with it. They asked for my bank information. Thank God I didn’t give it

Hello, I had a very similar message. I even did the interview through zoom and told me exactly what you said besides my bank information. I’m still sure it’s a scam.

They sent me an email saying they seen my application from indeed and wanted an interview. I could not find a lot of information online except the website, but none of the emails work. So I did the interview and it seemed like a legitimate interview. He only took my name and phone number and address to send paperwork and a check to purchase the equipment. He did not leave a phone number or anything for me. He did not even ask for my email. The email was originally sent by Angelica Barb. He would only do the interview by IM in Zoom. It just sounds kind of fishy to me.
