Oasis Trim Reports & Reviews (2)

I RESPONDED TO AN AD FOR A FREE TRIAL BOTTLE OF OASIS TRIM FOR $4.95. COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER I RECEIVED TWO BOTTLES. ONE OASIS TRIM AND THE OTHER CALLED VALITA CLEANSE WHICH I DID NOT ORDER.

I CHECKED MY MASTERCARD STATEMENT AND SEE THAT I WAS CHARGED $7.10 TIMES TWO TO SOLID STEEL FOUNDATION ON APRIL 13TH. I WAS ALSO CHARGED $142.81 ON APRIL 29TH TO "SOLID STEEL FC CREAM" AND AGAIN ON MAY 2ND TO "PORTER STRONG GALS".

I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE COMPANY BY EMAIL AS THESE CHARGED WERE FRAUDULENT AND I RECEIVED NO FURTHER PRODUCTS FOR THE AMOUNT CHARGED.

THEY CANCELLED THE |"SUBSCRIPTIONS" AND SAID NO FURTHER CHARGES WOULD BE MADE.

TO DATE THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED AS PER THEIR POLICY We refund all cases of fraud and unauthorized transactions included shipping and handling charges. Additional refunds are issued at the discretion of the company.

I CALLED THE COMPANY TO SAY THAT THE REFUND HAS NOT COME THROUGH. THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND. I SAID I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY MORE PRODUCT AND THAT'S WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT THOSE CHARGES ARE FOR THE TWO "FREE TRIAL" BOTTLES.

I AM BESIDE MYSELF WITH GRIEF. I HAVE $291.60 TO PAY FOR TWO FREE BOTTLES. HOW CAN THIS BE??

I saw an ad on social media (I think Instagram) for this diet supplement using ketones. I had read about them before so I was interested. The ad stated that you could order the first bottle for free, just pay shipping. I clicked on the link, it took me to the site, I read about it and thought hey why not. There were testimonials on the page and I did a bit of personal research and saw other positive reviews about the supplement's effectiveness - I now believe these were faked by the company. I received the trial bottle and a few days later, I was charged $140 CAD extra to my same credit card. I instantly emailed them and said I did not authorize this payment and would like a refund. No phone number was given at the time. They then emailed back and responded that they were sorry to hear this, and they would cancel any future payments, but I needed to call the number below for a refund. I called them this morning and they said that in the 'Terms and Conditions' it said that I would be charged for a subscription to the product after my 10 day trial period was over. Never on the sale page, the check out page or the email I received confirming my shipping payment did it ever say this was a subscription or that I would be paying again. When I told the woman on the phone this, she just kept repeating it was stated in the terms and conditions. On the checkout page, there is a box you must check to say "I am 18 years or older and I agree to the terms and conditions." On a legitimate website, these terms would be clickable and you could choose to click here. This website did not, and you had to scroll to the bottom of the site to read the terms there. My browser first blocked this pop up and it would not open, but then once it did open, you had to scroll down several times through the text to find their disclaimer about what you were actually signing up for. It is common knowledge that consumers do not read the terms and conditions for online purchases, especially when they are not easily accessible. This company took advantage of this fact, as the subscription was never mentioned prior to purchase and it was buried in terms and conditions that were not made plainly obviously to read. After 10+ minutes of arguing, the customer service rep said she was the highest authority in the company and would refund me $29 USD. As I walked her through the exact process I did to prove it never mentioned a subscription or additional payment, she kept going silent, attempting to find the sections where it mentioned the subscription or the Terms and Conditions and stumbled over her words. So they admitted they did something wrong, but would only return 25% of my payment? Yes I did click the 'over 18 and agree to the terms,' but this company purposely deceives customers so that they can make money in an unethical way. There are several Facebook comments now on their page stating the exact same story. I wish to report this so that no one else is scammed by a company who will not stand behind their product, but instead of unfair tricks. I would be happy to be contacted if you have more questions
