I was doing my due diligence on a Gypsy Vanner he had listed for $4500, so I messaged him about the horse; he messaged be back and asked if I was looking to buy immediately and did I need transport. Gypsy Vanners usually start at $10K and only go up from there. So I asked him back, why his Vanners were half the price of every other one; said I would not buy a horse sight unseen and would bring my own vet. I haven't heard a thing since!

Online purchase of advertised horse including shipping via direct deposit. The day of shipping, I was informed that the horse had to be insured for the 3-day trip to mn. in the amount of $3, 8oo cash, by me, immediately, or the horse would not be delivered.[ Mortality Coverage I believe he called it] I refused to pay the "Mortality Coverage". Daniel Howell {the seller's name] has since ceased emailing me.

Oaktrail ranch websites have horses for sale and they supposedly ship all over the world according to their advertisement. The requested the money up front to ship. Then they asked for "insurance" to ship but it was "refundable". Then on the day they were to ship, they supposedly got stopped at the border and had to pay $2800 before crossing the state line, and a $1550 vet fee because the horse needed vaccines. If I pay it, I can have the horse tonight. I said this is beginning to sound like a scam and I would like a full refund. No response. I've been taken. https://www.oaktrailranch.com/page95.html

This website is a scam, horses are not selling for $5000. any more! He has pictures of trainers on horses I know that would not sell horses for $5000. More like $100K So Buyers please be aware.
And never send a money order on a horse you have not seen, those pictures on his website are taken from other websites.

This website is a total scam! I breed dogs and people do this in the dog biz too!
He has one of Mozaun McKibben's horse on there with Mozaun riding the horse, for $5500. I DON'T THINK SO!
Horses are not selling for $5000. right now, so buyers please Aware!

I was just getting ready to pull the trigger and buy one of his horses, although I wanted to go pick it up myself, I live in Utah but thought it would be a great experience for my son and me to see all of those great broke riding horses. But he kept avoiding a time to go visit.

This guy has amazing descriptions, pictures, and videos of very well broke horses all for a very fair price. His name is Daniel Howell and he is very convincing offers a 30 day money back guarantee if the horses are not what you would like. I asked for a contract, references, address of location, time/date stamped video. He followed through with an example contract…not even one of his. Gave me an address that was a real addresss but it was definitely not his. He said he could deliver the horses to us in about 4-5 days but we would have to wire the money……. We have purchased livestock online before and it is always pay on site or upon delivery. That was a huge red flag for me. The more I asked questions the more pushy he became and then told me to let it be and he would sell the another customer.

Thank you for posting your review. Just this morning I inquired about a very reasonable well trained gelding. He sent videos but did not answer any of my questions. I told him my location, less than 2 hours from him, and asked for an appt to see the horse and I have not heard back. I was afraid it was too good to be true. Your post supports what I thought all along. I am located in 85615, AZ.
