I met Michael on a Muslim dating app. He acted like he was interested in becoming Muslim, and he pretended to share my interest in helping homeless people. He told me he would teach me to trade and then once I made enough money, we would meet and come up with a good charitable plan. He started out with me putting 1K into the Gemini app and then putting it into the website. I made $165 and was able to take the money out. Then I started putting more and more money in and he told me to leave it in there instead of pulling it out every time to avoid fees. Once I reached what looked like over 100K, I tried to pull it out. They made me pay taxes twice, once for 18K and then again for 23K. Plus another 11K in other fees. It wasn’t until after I paid the 23K and couldn’t take my money out that I realized I had been ripped off. I want this website to be marked as a scam so this can’t happen to anyone else. I also want this Michael character to get in trouble but I realize that’s next to impossible. It’s an awful scam. I lost my life savings.
