I received an email saying my McAfee subscription to a product I never bought the service for was up. I did not know whether or not I had signed up or had been signed up for virus protection from them when I bought a computer in 2021. I called the company and they had no record of me, but a different number which I provided was there means to which they were going to take my money. McAfee told me this was a scam.
