I received an email from Comenity Bank under and in the email they stated I had an important communication in my secure message center. I use to have an account with NY and Company but I closed my account in 2020. So I called the NY and Company's phone number: 800-889-0494 and a person by the name of Daniel answered the phone. In the background, you could here people talking. He said he was part of a credit card center and did business with NY and Company and other different department stores. I told him to be quiet so I could here the background noise. He then put me on hold. I hung up. I called again and this time a woman by the name of Denny (Denise) came on the line and I stated is this a scam call center. She hung up on me.
