I posted a craigslist ad to sell my car and this person contacted me claiming to be an interested person but was persistent on trying to get me to purchase a vehicle history report for him from his sketchy vehicle history website. He tries to act like he has cash in hand and get you to spend the money for the report and then backs out of the deal after he pockets your $25-$100.

Sellers beware!
