Nuvella Skin Care Reports & Reviews (2)

On April 2, while I was surfing the MSN news site, there was a promotion video about the effective removal of aging line by Nuvella Skin Care product and I was interested. It offered free trail sample but I have to pay for shipping and handling which I did not have problem with it. As the ordering page came up, I was not aware about the little description below it about condition of ordering. When I got to the checkout, another screen popped up to promote Renuvica skin cream as an free trial. I did not want that, but I could not advance to the next screen unless I ordered the latter item too. After that, I received a S&H receipt from both products detailing one charge for $4.94 and another one for $6.93. About a week later, I received a package from Canada Post that contained both products and I was not happy that I have to pay for two charges for same shipment, but I figured someone has to make a few bucks. However, when my credit card statement showed up, the S&H turned out to be C$5.79 and $7.69 respectively by some European companies. Yesterday, when May credit card statement showed up, I was shocked. There is one $149.93 charged by Gorgeoustouchinf.com in GBR (Germany?) and another $143.31 charged by Mrevshopper.com in IRL (Ireland?). I went on-line and found out people fell for scam like that because the condition specified such charges as monthly subscription fee. I sent two separate emails to both brands to complain and ask to cancel any future order because both products are not as effecive as they claim on-line. In order to make sure that was done, I called the toll-free numbers on both order confirmations to register my cancellations. In fact, both different numbers ended up at the same central answering service somewhere in the States. After I did that, I called one number and caught hold of a representative to ask for money back, but he said the order belonged to Canada and gave me another number to call. I called and talked to someone else but he brought up that company policy BS about me not returning within the time allowed and so stoned walled me. So, I am not going to get anything from them and I remembered CTV had one show about such scam by Ross McLaughlin and so I emailed him to see if he can help. His office said ScamPulse.com has been successful in getting refund for someone else on a Abella scam. I am hoping you can help me because I am out almost $300. I am also upset that the so called subscription charges most likely in Euro currency because they were not round numbers.

If you can help, you can contact me by email. Thanks.

Company stated I would only have to pay the postage to receive a jar of RENUVICA skin cream and tube of NUVELLA anti-aging SERUM. No problem with that. Very soon after that I had a charge of $156.96 on my Visa statement. I phoned the company and told a gentleman on the phone I could not pay that type of money for the items. He then said to get my money back from the credit card charge was to send only the anti-aging SERUM back by Canada Post with a tracking# which I did. After I did all that I was then informed my account was closed and therefore NO refund.
