Type of a scam Online Purchase
Coming across an ad for Renuvica & Nuvella face creams at a promo price of around $20, I ordered it. However, had been battling some health issues, falling seriously ill two days later with emergency visits, tests, doctors, with some very serious symptoms. Therefore, I was unable to make it to our post office here in Thamesville , Ontario to pick that or any mail up. We must pick up our mail here in the country. Due to Canada Post policy, when items are not picked up in 8 days (I think), by their final notice, they are automatically returned to sender, which is precisely what took place. I DID NOT EVEN RECEIVE THE GOODS WHATSOEVER. Currently, although not Canada Post's policy to track auto-return to senders, a lovely woman at the post office is trying to find any info as to the auto return. HOWEVER, she herself and another woman are happy to verify this for you. Meanwhile of course, I awaited a credit to land on my VISA. Weeks later, also when well enough to manage computer business, I contacted Nuvella / Renuvica's customer service number and to my HORROR discovered: They had charged me on July 28, 2017approx. $300.00 PLUS MONTHLY FEES AND TAX SINCE, FOR PRODUCT NEVER RECEIVED and which of course they would know themselves having a tracking number of it going back into their system anyway. I ALSO DISCOVERED they had NO INTENTION of crediting me a cent. I began fighting with call centre people as that is all they seem to be; demanding credit and asking how they can charge someone for something they did not even receive and they continue to recite back their return policy. BUT IT IS NOT A RETURN AT ALL. I never received the goods to begin with I demand! THEY REFUSE A CENT BACK TO ME and here I am on disability pension, my VISA now maxed and me paying fees and tax on an $300 + charge for something I have never received. THEN, they said they would re-supply!! I said absolutely not, PLEASE PROVIDE THE NAME AND ADDRESS OF YOUR CEO, DIRECTOR. I then received 2 calls from an obvious call centre, Indian person; who never leaves his name, never provides head office address or any information but the same customer service number. I have all their emails saved on my system here of me fighting back and forth. HOW AM I TO RECOVER THAT MONEY?? I want to sue them for way more than just $300+ and let the world know they are scammers as well as blatant thieves. PLEASE, CAN YOU HELP ME.
