I ordered books online from their offer a couple years ago. They had a monthly news letter and stated there would be a yearly membership fee of $37. I gave them my Visa Credit Card Number. I did receive the books and monthly news letters. About 6 months ago I called and cancelled the subscription, and also unsubscribed. They stated via the telephone call that my subscription was cancelled and account closed. Last week there was an amount of money deducted from my personal checking account for $37. I reported it to my credit union not knowing where the charge was from. Then I received an email a couple days later from the company I ordered the books from stating the membership renewal had been deducted from my account, and they listed the last 4 numbers from my personal checking account. I had NEVER given them information to my checking account. They only ever had a Visa credit card number. Very scary! My credit Union did recover the funds to my checking account. I will be calling this company to let them know my account was cancelled, and inquire about how they got my bank debit card information.
