I received a call from them, stating I needed to contact them regarding a debt. They also contacted a family member of mine. When I called the company back, the woman who I was speaking to told me my name and last four of my social. She stated I had a case against in the amount of $450 for a loan I had taken out and never paid back. She could not give me any information about the loan, such as the original date it was supposedly taken out or the original lender. I told her that I knew I did not take out a loan for that amount ever and would be contacting a lawyer to find out who was the original lender. She then began yelling at me about how I was being sued by this company and I had to take action today to pay this off, for the new amount of $815. She transferred me to a higher person, who also took on the same rude tone, but still could not give me info about the original terms.
