Onvoy LLC use spoofed numbers to spam call me multiple times a day. Once I noticed they kept calling every day with random numbers from my area, I silenced those calls with a spam blocker app. I also blocked those numbers, but it's useless. No App seems to work for blocking these scammers and trolls. There's more of this kind of activity now than ever, and no hope to mitigate this is in sight.

Checking online sources, the number (840-240-7724) turned out to have no history, and no name or address associated with it. My search did not turn up any prior users, nor prior complaints. Odd in itself, compared to most searches that I’ve done in the past.

But the search did identify the number as a land line, and the telephone carrier as Onvoy.

Although I had never heard of Onvoy, it proved to be a clue worth following.

A quick look turned up an article identifying Onvoy as the phone carrier used by most scams.
