Through Indeed, I was contacted to send my resume to an “employer.” I was searching for a part time job and ended up being scammed out of money. Wire transfers and cryptocurrency was how I was scanned and I was even mailed a fake check! My resume had all my personal information. I’m thinking I’m getting a job, and I end up being a victim of fraud.

I applied on Indeed looking for a work from home job to help support my family, and Jeffery Evan's reached out to me claiming he was an HR Consultant through Novo Law Firm. After becoming a bit suspicious, I contacted the law office in New York, and they said that it was a scam and they had no idea who he was. He had sent me a check in the mail, to which I did not deposit, because I knew it was a fake.
