Was sent 1099 for a prize from The Children's is Back &1000,000 Giveaway Sweepstakes which they say was sent 1-2-2022 to email address [email protected] which they state was changed to [email protected] after the prize was redeemed same day. Not our email address. We did receive an email that we won the &1000 prize but after not receiving anything from this company I thought I had not sent in the right information so thought I had lost the prize. I do not believe I ever received the notification of the prize but do not know how to retrieve it at this point. But know I did not receive this prize nor redeem it. Do not feel I should have to pay taxes on a prize I did not receive. Not sure if this is a scam but if someone else got this prize, then to me seems like a scam. I have sent information to HELLOWORLD but looks like they are not looking into this as a scam. Just think I redeemed the prize and all is done. I will be sending copies of the emails sent to HELLOWORLD with my income taxes.
