Unclaimed Reward/ Post Card

I recieved a post card in the mail. The postcard said final notice dear Alexandria and unclaimed reward worth up to a $100 is being held for you at our main processing center to receive this award please call us now toll free at 18662133166 failure to call will result in an automatic forfeit of this reward please call at once for details. When I called the number someone with a foreign accent answered the phone and asked immediately asked me for my claim number And then he said I would receive a $100 reward in the mail and then another $50 because I resided in Arkansas he asked me to provide card information for shipping of $1.95 which I gave him a card that I do not use just to see what would happen then, Confirmation number which I received and forwarded me to the automated system sounded like A voicemail recording which you could still hear him in the back ground. The card info i provided had just enough for his said shipping & handling price but the reward shipping was never charged off on my account.

LI received a call on my cell from a woman with a very heavy accent telling me that I am a recipient of a $9000 government grant because I paid my taxes on time and have not filed for bankruptcy. She said she was with the federal government in Washington DC, but the caller's area code was 617, Boston.

I asked for a phone number to call to verify this is legitimate, but was given a website instead, mygovernmentgrants.com. I asked who they were calling, they said the owner of the phone at the number called, no name was given.

I terminated the call and looked up the phone number. It was associated with a suspected scam. I looked at the website and was surprised it was available. With all the complaints I have found, it should be taken down before more people are cheated.
