The email header read in the message. Congratulations. Your order for your antivirus support plan has been successfully processed, and the payment has been deducted from your Norton account.

Transaction will appear on your bank statement within 24-48 hours.

The product of the service of the email is more than likely an automated message for a subscription renewal with the quantity of two years.

The invoice was sent to my personal email address. What was a red flag was they have my new email address and I had it registered to an old email address. The caller attempting to be a service call center, had said you have ordered from a Windows device and as soon as I mentioned I do not have that type of device they hung up automatically.

I have not been a Norton Antivirus member for close to a decade.

Norton charged my bank acct 149.99 for Norton 360 on June 30, 2023. I contacted Norton on July 1, 2023, to learn this was a yearly renewal. I do not own any products/computers/devices that would use an antivirus and Norton verified there are no devices connected to the acct. It was then learned I was also charged 69.99 in 2019, renewal 139.99 in 2020, 139.99 in 2021, and 139.99 in 2022, for an antivirus service that I did not authorize and that was not connected to any devices ever. They stated they will refund the recent charge and would do nothing about the other $500 charges. The email they had on file was an outdated email no longer used. Before I could connect to speak with an agent I had to verify my identity in multiple ways, so it seems absurd that they have the ability to debit a bank acct for years without any sort of authorization. This company is to protect the consumer from online threats and ID theft- what a joke! As it turns out THEY were the ones scamming me! I requested a refund for every year they STOLE my money without my permission or authorization for a service I never used or had access to (did not own any devices for the antivirus) and they refused to refund anything except the most recent charge. The supervisor stated it is the consumer's responsibility to cancel the subscription or choose to not renew- I agree- however, I did not use this product/antivirus (verified by Norton that I did not ever have any devices connected to it) so how in the hell would I know I needed to cancel it ?!?! I spent over an hour on the phone and spoke with three different agents- the first woman remarked in 2019 it was canceled and then reinstated three months later- the next two agents denied that fact and stated it was not in the records. I feel I am entitled to a full refund from Norton for the amount Norton scammed me out of online to protect me from online theft and scams.
