My boyfriend was trying to stop a reoccurring bill from Norton Security that he no longer uses for his laptop. We contacted **** ** ******* to stop the payment on his credit card. **** ** ******* gave us a phone no to contact the merchant but it was not in use, my boyfriend ***** ********* then went online and found a number which he called. We spoke with an individual who said he would help us to get the $101.29 credit. Somehow this scammed took us down a rabbit hole and tried to get us to wire transfer the mony over an international wire transfer thru ******* ***** ***** business checking account. When I went to add in what he said to do as $100.00 it took it as $10,000.00 and it looked like ******* account went up by the $10,000.00 at tnis time the scammer started screaming tnat he was going to get fired and that I made a big mistake. At this time I realized something was very wrong so I mentioned I didn't trust him and we were going to call or go to the bank. The scammer became more upset and said we would all loose the money. At this time I hung up on the scammer. ***** immediately call **** and reported what happened as well as ***** ***** who canceled his business checking account immediately after hearing of this fraudulent transaction. ***** is going to the bank tomorrow to open a new account.
