I received an email saying a product I did not order had been shipped and that I had 6 hours to refund the charge from the date of the transaction. I was half awake and am 85 years old. I thought I would save my kid from having to help me and called the number. Then through some devious conversation, I both gave them access to take over my computer to give money back and access to my bank account. They then proceeded to either scan or download files - I wasn't aware of what they were doing until too late and hung up...I have already had to shut down my bank account but am not sure if they got additional information from my computer and have uninstalled the screen share app AnyDesk that they so courteously talked me through installing to get my refund through an instant money portal, yeah, i know....they hung up on me, but a charge went out and back in the acct.
