After receiving an email w/an attached bill for services I never ordered, I called the number provided and spoke to a man (foreign) who wanted me to accept or cancel the offer for an additional year of service for Norton Antivirus protection. I told him I never had Norton and that I would never pay $399.99 for this type of protection. He said I could cancel or else the attached bill would AUTO PAY from my financial institution. I asked where he got this information since I only use PayPal on line and further never used it to purchase Norton. He would not tell me which account the auto pay would use. I explained that I never purchased the computer; that it was given to me by my niece. He insisted that I purchased the computer and the account was in my name. He said I needed to open my computer, asked which browser I used, and then said he would walk me through the cancellation process. This just felt wrong, I told him so, and told him I was going to get a professional technical person to call him to discuss this and he then hung up on me. The image I provided here is the email attached bill that I was sent. When I attempted to reply to the email, I received one saying his address could not be found. This also shows in the attached image that I uploaded here.
