I received an email saying I was going to be charged $289.98 for Norton Anti-Virus Protection auto renewal. I called the number given to cancel before it was taken from my account. I spoke with the first man who instructed me to go to my laptop, download "TeamViewer" "to delete the software" and then he sent me to another man who had me download another app - both of which said they were to take off all software from my system but instead they were watching my screen. They had me log in to my bank, and then to another screen to add $200 & $89.90. All of a sudden there was $2k in my acct and I created fraudulent activity. I was told he was going to take care of it and contact the ScamPulse.com so we wouldn't have to involve law enforcement. I was then told I needed to go to walgreen or target to take out the money.. TWO HOURS later I texted my family as they wouldn't let me hang up to call because it was recording and thats when I was told it was a scam. I hung up and they called back twice and left a VM. They had answers to all of my questions and made it seem so legit. They have a fake ScamPulse.com website that we worked through and a whole script. Thankfully I hung up before any money was taken and there wasn't actually an extra $2k in my account. Since they watched me login to my bank account on my laptop I had to get a new account and change my passwords.. Seemed so legit, so frustrated I wasted so much time on a scam.
