I received an email that said I ordered Norton Anti-virus for a year at the price of $482.60. I did not order this product and got no answer when I called the number they gave.

I received an email from someone claiming to be Norton Anti-Virus. I contacted them and the person logged into my computer. He told me they were going to refund my $399. He told me to go into my account and approve a $399 refund. Then I checked and they deposited $15000 into my account. He told me I needed to send the money back. He told me to send it back by bitcoin. Then he told me he didn't receive it and to send it again. I went to the bank and they told me none of the transactions didn't exist. I contacted the bank manager and the police.

Received an email stating that my membership for my computer security and protection had been renewed and that my payment for $249.74 would be processed within two to three business days. However, I do not have an account with Norton Antivirus and fortunately, the $249.74 has not been deducted (they wanted me to think that it was).

Received an email regarding an automatic renewal for 289.95$ that was going to be charged to my debit card. You are asked to call this number: 1-801-803-5186 (Salt Lake City, Utah) to cancel it. When you call they say they want to download something to your computer to cancel your subscription and this is the only way to cancel your subscription. When I probed further and asked the caller's name he gave me the name "Eric Smith" but clearly sounded like he was another nationality and from another country. When I said you don't sound like your name would be "Eric Smith" he hung up on me.
