Was contacted regarding an application from Linkedin. Set up a time for an interview and was requested to download the RingCentral communication app. Interview was conducted via messaging through that app. Offer was extended, PDF form printed and signed and sent back. The next day, a check for $4990.00 weas sent to my email with instructions to use the funds to purchase and set up the home office. The check was held by my bank for 5 days until it was removed from my account. Per Cindy's linkedin profile, she is now aware her name is being used in the scam. It appears they may be using an outdated internal form.
