I received a letter today with a return Home Depot logo which was photo copied onto the envelope. Inside along with the letter was a check in the amount of $ 4620.00. That was an advance payment to assist with the applicable Tax & Insurance handling fee to process my claim of $ 250,000.00.I was to contact a claims officer to activate the check and complete my claims process. I was even given a pin number to use to identify myself. The check looked legit - it was drawn on a Citibank account of Maryse Lamour. Fortunately I checked on -line with ScamPulse.com before I made any calls. I never recalled entering such a lottery It seemed too good to be true & it was ......
