They required a lot of personal information, including all of my banking information, when I called lending club via the number on Google, they had no record of the account.

I received a voicemail (I have image proof) from a company claiming they were going to take me to court for breach of contract, etc. I call them back to locate what is going on, they try to get me to validate my personal info and I say No. The lady, Vanessa Parks (909-206-0487x810) tells me it's for a medical bill from "West Valley Medical" service date June 18, 2010. She said the bill was previously owned by United Credit Recovery but will provide me no specifics on either past owner. The names don't match actual businesses that I can find, for example, there is a West Valley Medical Center, but that is comprised of a bunch of different medical companies. She tells me I can pay $813.94 up front or payments equalling $1625 and I have to pay today. They tried to get me to validate the last 4 of my ssn, I refused. I continuously ask for specific information/proof of where this original charge is coming from and she refuses to tell me anything about her company on the phone, she said she'll email me the info. She then sends me a docu-sign document that is very generically written with no details in it, the company name is not searchable and the address leads to a virtual office in Ontario California. I took screen shots. she told me my bill went thru 5 different credit agencies, I've never received any notice of it. She then tells me they mailed me notice of intent to file 45 days ago, never got anything from them. I explain that I have zero problem paying a bill if I owe it, I just want documentation showing me where this bill originated from so that I can validate it first. She tells me she can't give that to me and that I'll find that once I enter discovery. I call Abrazo and ask them to research for bills, they said they have no such record of any services for me at all. The person in billing at Abrazo tells me that they don't pursue collections like that; he stated that the statute of limitations in Arizona for medical bills is 6 years and that if this service originated in 2010 as stated, that it would fall well outside of that and he recommended doing research as it may be a scam. I myself validate this and he was correct, it is 6 years and this would be 7 years past that even if there was a balance. I call three different places named similar to United Credit Recovery and they know nothing about me or have any balances for me. I search for this company on google and the first thing that comes up is saying its a scam and outlines exactly what they say to trick you into sending them money and verbatim, what they said in that warning is exactly what she said to me. I call Vanessa back and tell her that unless they can provide documentation related to the original charge to prove this is legitimate and so that I can validate the charge, I'm not paying it. We ended the call shortly after, she said "I only have the info in front of me". I've had my fair share of medical billing issues with balances getting applied to wrong accounts, etc, so I know that a hospital can pull up very detailed records going back a min of 15 years. If this is legit, there is no way I can prove it and the initial threaten tactic/speech they employed earlier doesn't seem similar to any lawyer I've ever worked with before. I was advised to report it. I have a screen shot of the virtual voicemail they left me, the document they sent me in docu-sign , as well as the screen shots I took of the other info I researched, if required.
