Nora NYC Reports & Reviews (6)

This company contacted me via Instagram offering me to be a part of their affiliate program. They have me 55% off there merchandise and I was promised for every $120 someone spent using my discount code I would receive $20 in return. As a fashion blogger I was excited to get started I made my purchase of $73 it's been 2 months and I have yet to receive my goods or hear back from the company.

I was contacted by NoraNYC on Instagram and asked to become an affiliate. I didn’t think much of it, and looking at their social media pages everything seems legitimate.

Things started to get weird when I had to pay for my first glasses, but since they were a “new” company I went with it. With my discount code I was given I was getting the glasses for almost 65% off and they were nice looking sunglasses.

It has now been 2 months. I have not received my sunglasses and they have charged my card. I have asked for a refund where they keep telling me my order was shipped.

It gets better— they send you a whole email about their Facebook group and how you can network and all these things. There is no networking. It is a group of girls who have ALL been scammed.

Do not purchase from them and ignore all contact.

I was an affiliate of this company and decided to order my first pair of glasses for a cheap price and for some reason they never shipped out my glasses and it’s been a month, I contacted them and so far no one has gotten back to me, as I am writing this I want people to know that this company is a scam and to never ever pay full price for shady companies like this.

I was approached by this so called “company” on instagram stating that I should email them to be a part of their PR list & be an affiliate. That was my first mistake trusting random pages on social media but I gave it a shot anyway and bought a pair of sunglasses from their online shop. They had gave me an affiliate code to save some money, which it did, it gave me 50% off a pair of shades. When i purchased them I waited a couple of days before realizing that I have still not received a confirmation code about them having my order. I then emailed them about what was going on & their response was that they had supposedly sent 2 confirmation emails already which was absolutely NOT true because i check my email every day at every hour. I placed my order on September 3, 2017 and it is now September 22, 2017 with NO confirmation emails & NO shipping details. At this point I had sent about 15 emails to this company & their response is that they had shipped the order & I will receive shortly. I still have all of the emails that they sent me since this whole thing started but yet I don’t have any confirmation emails. DO NOT EVER FALL FOR THESE TYPES OF PAGES ON IG CLAIMING TO GIVE YOU FREE THINGS BECAUSE IT IS ALL A SCAM! Thankfully I did not lose a lot of money but it is extremely frustrating when you think a “company” is being truthful but all they are doing is giving you the run around.

These are the Instagram pages associated with this “company. @shopnoranyc @chicnyc

They have been emailing multiple girls asking to be affiliated with them and helping them promote their brand. Now they offer a 50% discount on the first pair of sunglasses and when they are purchased. Never get sent.

They are scamming young girls out of their money. They are also affiliated with Mirina Collections. Another scam company.

This brand contacted me via Instagram with the offer of me becoming an affiliate of their brand. They offered me a 50% off coupon code for ONLY ME to use and a 10% off coupon code for my followers on my social media outlets. I purchased a pair of sunglasses from them and still have not received them (it's been about 20 days) or a response as to why I have not received them or my tracking information. The money was taken out of my account 2 days after my purchase but I never got any tracking information, even though they did send me an email 2 days after my purchase that they were shipped. I fear that they will take more money from my account. Luckily, I have not had money in their for any to be taken since I made my purchase. I plan to contact my bank to make sure they do not accept any purchases from that brand, but they still have my card information so I am extremely worried. This brand is a scam and needs to be exposed!
