Type of a scam Employment
They contacted me through email ([email protected]) offering me a "payroll dispatcher" job. I, stupidly, accepted the job, and sent out for them quite a few checks that I now know are fake. Over the roughly two weeks I've "worked for them", I've sent out upwards of 300 envelopes, and there are quite a few more checks waiting for me to send.
I believe this is some sort of wire transfer scam, and it seems to be relatively large. I personally haven't lost anything from this yet, other than a bit of time, but I believe they're using my college-student-who-needs-a-job nativity to victimize other people. I've attached one of the many fake check PDFs they tricked me into mailing out. I hope the people who receive those checks are smarter than I was.
