Dr Clifford Jr., Nonprofit Success Academy, marketed grant writing service and "contracted" with Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. for grant writing on 1/13/23 for $500 on PayPal and on 3/21/23 for $500 on PayPal. He was supposed to send an update with the names of the businesses he applied for 12 grants for. He took the payment on PayPal and never contacted Animal Guardians Horse Rescue, Inc. again. We have contacted him numerous times requesting status updates, information about who he apparently applied for grants from, and finally, to request a refund for the service not rendered. We texted, emailed, and left voicemail messages for him, with no response. We have filed a dispute on PayPal and would like to report this person / business as a probably fraudulent service. Because it is located in TX and we are in CA, we are not sure we can take it to small claims court. But we may do so. We would like to report this person / business as a scam.
