This person contacted me on Offer Up to purchase a pair of expensive designer shoes. I was instructed to get verified through Cash app because the sales price was over $150. While Cash App was verifying my identity, Mr. Brown also had me get verified through Coinme because he insisted we proceed with the sale using bitcoin. Once I caught on, I notified Offer Up and I showed them the chain of emails clearly based on predatory collecting. They suggested I file a police report (which I need to do as this all happened yesterday). I reached out to Mr. Brown about this and he has nor replied to me. I'd like my $200 back and will do what you advise me to. His email is [email protected] btw
