Received a phone message this am (9-29-16). He identified himself as Steve Martin or Steve Monson, but I couldn't quite understand the actual surname, or if he said he was a government lawyer or agent, due to his accented English. However, I essentially got the gist of the rest of the message. He said that an action has been executed by the US Treasury against me, that this is a Federal Criminal Offense, and this was my second notice. I was to contact him immediately to avoid any further problems. He told me to call him at 909-743-6456. This has got to be bogus, mainly because of his strongly accented English. and he never mentioned my name. Plus, the IRS wouldn't contact anyone for problems or issues by phone, correct?
