Your website required me to enter an email address for the scammer though I was contacted by US Postal mail so I had to make one up please disregard it. Mailing envelope had no return address. Where postage stamp would be placed were words “Prsrtd Std US Postage PAID Mailed from 63155 Permit 5497.” Upper left area of single page letter looks “official,” and appears in clear window of mailing envelope. I originally thought it was from Subaru Corporation: 1st Line in bold font: 2021 SUBARU CROSSTREK PREMIUM 2nd line: Official Business 3rd Line: Penalty for Private Use, $300 4th line: bar code

5th line: Important Vehicle Information 6th line: Address Change? Please contact our 7th line: Customer Service Department. Letter is not dated but includes Approval Number: 074DT06821 TIME SENSITIVE ***RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED*** “THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM YOU: That if your factory warranty has expired, you will be Financially Liable for all repairs. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your service contract up-to-date. You have the option to protect your vehicle beyond the factory warranty. Please call us at 1-888-307-2075 before 4/4/24 to confirm your eligibility.” Please call with VIN and current mileage… Covered parts are listed. More urgent language is included “by neglecting to activate your coverage you will be at risk…this may be our only attempt to contact you about activating your vehicle service contract…” The letter is “signed” by James Conrad Program Coordinator. I own a vehicle of this make, model and year so I did read the letter, but quickly became suspicious that it was a scam because the letter didn’t include a company name or address, wasn’t dated and was pushy and used fear tactics. When I searched online for information about the phone number listed in the letter, I found confirmation from the ScamPulse.com that it is a scam. I appreciate the service you provide to consumers.

I received a letter from "Home Warranty Dept" stating this was the "final notice" that my home warranty was about to expire or is expired. Further, i needed to contact them immediately to update my home warranty. I knew this was a scam as there was no address, no business name and no particular person to contact. I'm submitting this information in case others get this kind of letter. I called the number on the notice a recording advised me to hold for the next agent. No one ever answered. On the bottom of the notice was a phony check or "Registration Fee Voucher" for $199 made out to my name.
