I got a robo call from 803-676-8401 saying that I have pending cases against me & to call 307-227-9159 with a case number or I would be served. I called & spoke with Paul Sims. He told me that I have an unpaid payday loan with Webloan, which I don't have. He couldn't provide me with any information about the original lender plus stated he couldn't send me the information that he has. It is totally a scam! These people call & use different names/numbers each time.

I received a call from a person by the name Sarah Joyce stating I had an unpaid debt with WebLoan on Nov. 15, 2016 for the amount of $497.88. They indicated that if I did not set arrangements for payment by check card that I would be taken to court on Dec. 1, 2020. I asked them to provide their address. I also asked for the name of the original lender and she was unable to provide this is information. I then asked her for her business and she would not provide this information. I then asked for her website and she said would not provide this information either. She kept insisting that if I did not set up payment arrangements then I would be served and have to attend court on Dec. 1, 2020. She did have someone by the name send me an email showing a Validation of Debt. There was still no complete address for the company and no name of the original lender just a generic name of WebLoan. I asked for her call back number and she gave me an Alabama number. I asked why I received a call from one number and told to call another number and then she provides me with an Alabama number. She said this is so I have a local number and then she said she was actually located in Atlanta and provided me with an Atlanta number. I have contacted my attorney and been instructed to treat this as a scam. I was also instructed to report to ScamPulse.com and local law enforcement. The scary thing is she already had my email, phone, address, and last 4 digits. I have since put a lock on my credit so that no one is able to run for credit.
