I was called on my personal cell phone but the caller asked for my husband. I said he is unavailable and that I am his wife, can I take a message. He said his name was Richard Harris calling from Document Processing Services and that he was calling my husband to serve him papers at (our home address) relating to a complaint out of _____ County (in which we do live) on behalf of N&K Group who my husband needs to call at 888-912-5985 with a reference number (not sure if identifying info) and that it was a very time sensitive manner. I then called my husband at work, who said it sounded like a scam, but he wanted to verify it anyway. He took down the information and called the number. He then called me back to say that he called, got put on hold, then when the line was picked up he said that he had received a message to call this number with a reference number but that he believed that they were a scam. The woman said well let’s look up your reference number, so he gave it to her and she put him back on hold and then hung up on him. Sounds like a scam to us.
