Nishkul Technologies claimed to have cleared my computer of viruses almost 6 years ago. About 5 weeks ago they called me to tell me I had to pay $3000 for services rendered over the years. They said they would remove the money from my account if I didn't "cancel" my account and pay the $3000. Also, if I did not cancel, my expenses would continue to accrue. They wanted a "check by phone" payment. I told them I saw no such language in the contract I had with them. They threatened to refuse to cancel my account and my expenses would keep accruing. That is, they would continue to bill me some $1500 per year. I did the check by phone but stopped payment on them. My bank charged me $31 per check. I had "written" two checks. There's been no follow up from them as to why the checks were stopped. The were inside my computer while I was on the phone with them. That's just a little bit scary. Please call them. They said they are in California. The phone reps sounded like they are from India. The guy I was dealing with the most said his name is Jerry. Then he said it is pronounced Gary. HHHMMM Please stop them from this scam. Thanks.
