I bought a PlayStation 5 from this person a little while back via Craigslist, response time was quick and when he met up he was even kind enough to let me into his house to plug it into the TV. I’ve never had any issues with this seller whatsoever and I plan to buy a couple more things the next time I get paid. Would definitely recommend.

This scammer initially had a post on OfferUp advertising a New 3DS XL for a great price, so I reached out and planned to initiate the purchase. Instead of completing the purchase there, the scammer mentioned that OfferUp was going to take a large chunk of the profits and instead asked if we could use another platform to pay, such as Zelle or CashApp. After sending the payment, I was told multiple times that the payment "didn't go through" and was prompted to resend it multiple times. They mentioned that their bank "told them to do this" because that's how the transfers supposedly worked. After sending the money, I became suspicious. I was provided with a USPS tracking number for the product that was incorrect when I searched for it.
