The company reaches out to you via email. Tells you that they selected your resume and would like to schedule a time for an interview. The interview is conducted via Skype, however you never see the person. Then, once the interview is completed, they tell you to ple[censored]d. that they ahve to review with their management team. After 30-1 hour goes by, they come back and tell you that you have been selected for the position. They then email you from looks to be a legitimate email address. In that email they provide the offer letter, W2, and one other form to be completed. Once you have sent that back, they then advise you that they will send you a check that will need to be deposited to purchase your work supplies. Once the check has been received, and deposited, they tell you that you have to zelle, venmo, or paypal the funds to their supplier. Once you have completed this, and they provide you an invoice with tracking number for your supplies, they CANCEL THE CHECK. Then they block you and you have no means of contacting them.
