I added a jersey to cart, put in my info and clicked, “continue to checkout.” The site spent forever loading and I decided that maybe I would just order from somewhere else. I NEVER checked out, only continue to checkout.
Some time late, I get an email saying my transaction was complete for $61.99. Was pretty hot about that considering I never finalized it, but was like ok...I really want the jersey for my dad so forget it. I’ll take it.
Check my bank statement, and there’s a charge for $67.57 instead from the seller. I think ***? Go to the site and try to log into my account...password doesn’t work. Reset it...reset email never arrives.
I go to contact support, no number, no email, only a contact form. Fill it out...won’t send. Now this seller has my card info, charged me for an item I didn’t purchase, no way to contact them, and I’m sure I will never see the jersey.
I should have known better, but I’ve had 0 issues online and was too comfortable with google putting it as one of the top search results. Lesson learned.
